the wokini experience

  • Students complete an average of 6.5 credits per year.

  • They can work at their own pace while in classrooms with subject specific teachers.

  • Students who work ahead have the ability to graduate early in order to pursue further educational opportunities.

  • Seniors caught up to grade level can participate in College Credit Plus through Butler Tech and Sinclair Community College and take college courses.

  • With a job, students can earn elective credits through the Career Based Intervention (CBI) program. 

  • Juniors can transition to Butler Tech career training programs. 

  • Graduates can attend Butler Tech Adult Education programs at a discounted cost after graduation.

  • Students can enjoy being part of a smaller school with the same educational resources.

  • Everyone can receive more one-on-one teacher interaction than at the traditional high schools.
